We offer honest, transparent pricing for our subscriptions to challenge the way many software providers offer their solutions. Rather than a “what can the customer afford” pricing model, our subscription pricing is available for all to see, and everyone gets the same pricing for the same product. Our base subscription pricing includes a standard number of users and disk storage, with additional user bundles and storage available for modest add-on charges. Our current pricing schedule is below for annual subscriptions:

Global Search is automatically available to all users without the need to add user licenses. Admin initially allows 3 users but additional users can be purchased at the rates above.

Full-featured software at a fair price

The way in which we can offer this full-featured software to small and big businesses alike is through infrastructure usage based on users and disk storage needed, which does affect our cost of providing the system for subscribers. We do not charge for bandwidth usage, or for any activity on a per-record basis, so you can use the system as often as you like without worry. However, if certain subscribers are very heavy users, we do need to increase our server capacity and internet bandwidth, which affects our cost that we need to pass on to those higher volume users. In order to do this equitably and transparently, our add-on pricing for users and storage per module is summarized above and more fully explained below:

Additional 5-User bundles can be purchased for any functional module at the cost of $250 per year. The OrgChart user allowance is for users who can update and otherwise access the module directly. However, any VTO user, with a license to any module, can search the information in OrgChart without counting against the user allowance using our Global Search module.

Additional storage for files on disk (we do not count database storage at this time) is $100 per year for an additional 10GB of storage for a module.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing and allowances at any time, but your pricing will not change until your renewal. Our intention is to maintain our pricing or even reduce it as possible, in order to continue to make VTO the platform of choice for the tax industry as a whole. For any existing subscribers, we guarantee (see Terms and Conditions for full details) that module subscriptions and add-on pricing will not increase by more than 5% per year, except due to circumstances beyond our control, and user and storage allowances included with the subscriptions will never decrease.
